Your Godly Words

Oh I have so many cares-I care for myself, my natural family, my church family, and even the world. I grieve for the harsh conditions of this world; I wonder will it ever get better! However, with all this endless wondering and worrying Matthew 6:27 (New King James Version) poses the question, “Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” In other words, who can make their situation any better by worrying?

The answer is: no man can; in fact we make matters worse when we worry. God has indeed given us intelligent minds to think and problem solve. When problems arise we should use our minds to brainstorm solutions. However, once we have done all we can possibly do, we must NOT worry but hand it all over to God! Psalm 55:22 (NKJV) says to us, “Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain…
