Hagrid is a trustworthy, gentle giant in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. He is the caretaker of Hogwarts and has a soft spot for creatures that most would consider terrifying or hazardous, but when it comes to standing up for what is right, no one would ever doubt which side Hagrid would be on.
In the books Hagrid, Harry, and the people of the wizarding world faced some pretty treacherous villains and situations. With each challenge came the opportunity to be steadfast and brave. As a reader, it was breathtaking to encounter the harrowing battles and escapes. Always fighting the fight between good and evil, Hagrid and company were perpetually prepared to face what came next.
“What’s comin’ will come and we’ll meet it when it does.”
Obstacles fly at us most every day. Sometimes we duck at just the right moment and others we take square on the cheek. The best way to handle what life throws at us is to be ready to bounce back and take a stand if needed. We can’t let the “What if’s” of life prevent us from facing each day with positive energy. We aren’t living, if we don’t put some gumption in our purpose. Our will and determination can only be protected and reinforced if we allow ourselves to welcome the unexpected.
“What’s comin’ will come and we’ll meet it when it does.”
Accidents, illness, and negative encounters with others are never things we hope to face. However, what we can hope for is strength and resiliency in tough times. We have to have a willingness to take on the unexpected and hold our ground or stand up in support of others when trouble arrives.
Putting Intentergy into our lives, just like Hagrid, will make us ready for what’s comin’ and allow us to kick some serious butt when it does. You may not have a magic wand or a spell to cast, but you do have the powers of faith, determination, and bravery to bolster your confidence. Don’t let fear of the unknown keep you from making progress or living your life to the fullest. Wield the power of positivity and nothing can stop you.

P.S. I really wish I had a magic wand to help me face what’s comin’.

Love this message. There is another quote I really like: “God has brought me to it and He will see me through it”. This has helped me in many difficult situations. Keep up your good work Melanie!
